Job summary

Zerolook in Zürich, Switzerland, is hiring an ML-focused engineering leader to build the core fare and itinerary prediction stack. You will define the technical approach and own end-to-end ML systems from model design to production deployment.

As an early hire, you will lead data pipelines, develop confidence-based routing, mentor engineers, and collaborate with founders and industry partners to shape the Zerolook offering.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• Broad ML knowledge across methodologies and their strengths/weaknesses.
• Production ML: 4+ years designing, training, deploying ML models in production.
• Strong software engineering skills with automated data pipelines.
• Startup DNA: comfortable with 0 to 1 phase, fast iteration and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Model Architecture: Design and implement high-performance, low-latency ML models for fare and itinerary estimation.
• Data Engineering: Build and maintain robust data pipelines processing large volumes of historical fare and schedule data.
• Intelligent Routing: Develop confidence scoring to route traffic between ML models and legacy stacks.
• Domain Leadership: develop core domain expertise in ML for fare and itinerary prediction.
• Technical Leadership: hire, lead and mentor engineers as the team grows.
• Strategic Collaboration: partner with founders with key industry organizations.
