Hexagon Robotics, a division of Hexagon, is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Foundation Model team, focused on building, evaluating, and deploying state‑of‑the‑art foundation models for humanoid robotic manipulation. You will work on making modern models work reliably on a real industrial humanoid robot.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or MSc in ML, Robotics, CS or related field.
• Strong understanding of multimodal model architectures and training methods.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and benchmark foundation models on real robotic manipulation tasks.
• Design experiments to understand model behavior, data needs, failure modes, and generalization limits on humanoid hardware.
• Develop fine-tuning/adaptation methods for industrial-grade performance on targeted tasks.
• Build and maintain evaluation pipelines, benchmarks, and metrics for model comparison.
• Collaborate with MLOps/DataOps and Learning teams to integrate models into end-to-end learning and deployment pipelines.
• Coordinate with Robotics and Product teams to ensure model choices fit customer workflows.
