Sécheron SA in Geneva is seeking a dynamic Mechanical R&D Engineer to design safety-critical electro-mechanical products, including upgrades to meet customer requirements, and to contribute across the full product lifecycle.

You will work in a cross-functional, international environment, using advanced engineering tools, with English as the primary language for written communication, and opportunities to grow and take initiative.

Qualifikationen

• Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in safety-critical electro-mechanical product design or similar field.
• Proven experience in product development and its lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional and international environment.

Aufgaben

• Design standardized safety-critical electro-mechanical products, including upgrades and adaptations to meet specific customer requirements.
• Identify and develop optimized solutions aligned with current technologies across the entire product lifecycle.
• Contribute to technical decisions regarding specifications and characteristics of standard and customized products.
• Apply Design-to-Cost and Design-for-Manufacturing principles.
• Use advanced engineering tools and software to optimize product development.
• Support validation activities: participate in prototype assembly, testing and compliance verification.
• Collaborate with Methods and Production to improve product quality and industrial performance.
