Job summary

Sécheron Hasler Group in Satigny (Geneva) is seeking an Electrical Engineer student or recent graduate for a six-month internship in our AC Circuit Breaker team. You will contribute to the development of high‑voltage components and gain hands‑on experience in an innovation‑driven environment.

You will provide FEM models, run simulations, review drawings, and assist tests while reporting results. English fluency is mandatory; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Last year as a master student or recently graduated
• English fluency mandatory
• Finite element analysis coursework required

We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer student or recent graduate for an internship of at least 6 months in our AC Circuit Breaker team located in Satigny (Geneva). You will get a hands on opportunity to join an innovative developing project, for AC medium voltage devices.

Main tasks:

• Provide technical design inputs for HV insulators/ Circuit breakers
• Develop FEM models, perform simulations, and document the results
• Review drawings and provide feedback, verify bills of materials
• Conduct patent searches and summarize relevant findings
• Assist during tests, write reports

Mandatory:

• Last year as a master student or recently graduated
• English fluency
• Finite element analysis coursework

Nice to have:

• French fluency
• Any hands‑on experience/ relevant projects in high voltage components (bushing, switchgear, insulators, cables)
