Zusammenfassung

RIVR Technologies AG in Switzerland seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to own the complete mechanical architecture for power distribution boards and control systems. You will lead electronic enclosure design, thermal management, and wiring harness development, bridging mechanical and electrical engineering for high-volume manufacturing.

You will drive design analyses (thermal, CFD, structural), create 2D drawings, and ensure manufacturability through DFM and supplier engagement.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of experience designing electro-mechanical assemblies, enclosures, and wire harnesses for moving platforms.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Siemens NX, CATIA) and validation tools (Ansys, COMSOL).
• Strong understanding of heat transfer, structural design, materials, GD&T.

Aufgaben

• Own the design and development process of electronic enclosures from concept to mass production.
• Resolve mechanical challenges including electrical isolation, environmental sealing, thermal management, shock and vibration, EMI.
• Run design analyses including thermal, CFD, structural (FEA).
• Define tests and validation plans; perform root cause analysis and mitigations.
• Create 2D drawings and documentation for handover to manufacturing.
• Guarantee manufacturability; lead supplier talks through DFM and DFA analyses.
