Jewish Care is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to support tenants at Wohl Court in Hendon, London, delivering a diverse programme of social and cultural activities. You will promote wellbeing, independence and community engagement through person-centred planning and inclusive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering activities in health/social care or community settings.
• Experience with older people, including those with dementia.
• Ability to work with individuals and groups and with families, carers and volunteers.
• Ability to create risk assessments and activity plans.
• Strong IT and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver a varied programme of activities.
• Support tenants to maintain independence and social connections.
• Organise outings and events reflecting Jewish festivals and culture.
• Develop activity plans and risk assessments tailored to individuals.
• Recruit and coordinate volunteers for activity programmes.
• Collaborate with families, carers and community partners.
• Produce newsletters to promote activities and engagement.
• Monitor participation and evaluate outcomes to improve services.
