Senior Lectureship in Management/Business Administration (75%)

The University of St.Gallen and its School of Management are inviting applications for a Senior Lectureship in the field of Management/Business Administration. The triple accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA) university offers a stimulating and well‑equipped research environment with a large network ranging from start‑ups, small businesses to large firms to engage in field studies.

We are seeking a colleague with a proven expertise in management and a strong commitment to the development and coordination of business education, in particular the large‑scale courses in our bachelor's program. Emphasis should be placed on one or more of the following aspects: design and implementation of innovative digital solutions, coordination of complex teaching settings, and the integration of research‑based insights into education.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver large‑scale lectures in German and English and ensure a strong academic bridge to the bachelor's program in Business Administration (BBWL).
  • Teach at other levels (BA, MA, PhD and Executive Education).
  • Contribute significantly to the Assessment Year, one of the university's most important study phases with more than 2,000 students annually.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in management or a closely related field.
  • Excellent track record in research and teaching, with potential to publish articles in top‑level journals, influential books, or conferences.
  • Established close relationships with the relevant research and executive communities.
  • Experience in executive education and acquisition of third‑party funding.
  • Outstanding leadership skills, scholarly commitment and fundraising abilities.
Teaching Languages

German and English. It is expected that candidates are able to teach in one language immediately and in the other within two years.
