Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, Apparel Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in performance apparel material/fabric development.
• Global travel experience to mills/suppliers and garment factories.

Aufgaben

• Define, develop, and lead creation and strategic sourcing of technical apparel materials across knits, wovens, trims.
• Establish fabric availability standards, sourcing policies, and QA processes.
• Lead material development workstreams across multiple seasons to align with programs.
• Drive material sustainability targets and circularity.
• Create and maintain material specifications, prints, and PLM documentation.
• Manage material lifecycle and ensure testing, approvals, and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain supplier partnerships with mills, print vendors, and garment factories.
• Contribute to digital and physical material library development and tool usage.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Development, Product Management, Innovation, Sustainability, and Testing.
