ON.com in Zürich seeks a Lead – Apparel Material Development (Performance) to drive the global performance materials strategy and advance textile technology. You will oversee fabric creation, advanced material development, and cross-functional execution to meet performance, sustainability, and product objectives.

You will mentor junior specialists, collaborate with Design, Development, Product Management, and Sustainability teams, and guide suppliers to deliver innovative materials from concept

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years of experience in performance apparel material/fabric development preferred.

Aufgaben

• Define, develop, and lead creation and strategic sourcing of technical, high-performance apparel materials.
• Establish fabric availability standards, sourcing policies, and QA processes to meet program timelines.
• Coordinate material development workstreams across multiple seasons and global regions.
• Drive sustainability targets and circularity in materials aligned with the company roadmap.
• Create and maintain material specifications, print applications, and documentation in the PLM system.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Design, Development, Product Management, Innovation, and Testing.
