coni + partner ag, headquartered in Zurich, seeks a Senior Group Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor to drive independent audits within Asset & Wealth Management and collaborate with senior management. The role requires governance review, oversight of controls, and proactive identification of risks on a global scale.

Ideal candidates hold CPA or CIA credentials, solid international banking audit experience, and strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
CPA or CIA certification; familiarity with the regulatory framework.
Experience in international bank audits and leading audit teams.
Strong analytical, team- and service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Lead independent audits and provide assurance to senior management and Head of Group Internal Audit.
Plan and conduct audits within Asset & Wealth Management.
Assess controls, identify risks and evaluate findings for lean banking operations.
Support forensic audits to identify irregularities and compliance risks.
Perform quality controls on key processes and internal controls.
Monitor implementation of measures and report on progress.
Review governance structures to ensure regulatory compliance and proper documentation.
Prepare audit documentation and contribute to reports and recommendations.
Participate in special investigations and act as sparring partner for management.
