Job summary

CAPITAL TRUSTEES AG in Switzerland seeks a qualified Brazilian lawyer to drive the growth of its international trust business across LATAM, with a special focus on Brasil.

You will develop professional relationships with lawyers, bankers, chartered accountants and tax advisors active in financial markets of LATAM and Brasil, and support wealth planning for clients.

Drafting contracts, conducting due diligence and ensuring regulatory compliance will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified Brazilian lawyer with valid licensure and registration.
• At least three years’ experience in Trust and Wealth Planning for HNWI.
• Experience in private client work, law firms or family offices.
• Familiar with wealth planning for real estate and shipping assets.
• Experience drafting contracts, conducting due diligence and regulatory compliance.
• Fluent in English, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish; a fifth language is a plus.
• TEP qualification or peer-reviewed publications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Increase the Company’s market visibility and recognition of its international trust business in LATAM, especially Brasil.
• Develop professional relations with lawyers, bankers, chartered accountants and tax advisors active in LATAM markets.
• Support wealth planning for existing clients in Brasil and LATAM.
