Qualifikationen

Key Responsibilities

• Experimental work: execute experimental lab work according to defined expectations and schedule. Generate and collect high quality data. Collaborate with individual scientists and lab technicians.
• Lab management: contribute to the maintenance and qualification of lab equipment. Actively participate to the establishment of working instructions for lab equipment. Ensure appropriate maintenance of the workplace. Order raw materials and consumables as per project needs. Share and implement best practices for lab and equipment management.
• Facilitate improvements to departmental business processes.
• Report issues in a timely fashion. Demonstrate flexibility to support other activities within the department.
• Proactive approach to own continuous professional development.

Key Requirements

• Degree in life science
• Experience with Cell culture: CHO cell culture, gene integration techniques, transfections, AMBR, STR, scale-up, DOE, IgG production
• Experience with: Purification: IgG purification techniques, UF/DF, viral clearance studies, formulation studies, scale-up
• Experience with: Pilot scale: cell culture techniques using pilot scale equipment, single-use systems, scale-up, process consistency, process control strategy
• Experience with: Analytical development: protein chemistry analytical methods (e.g. LC/MS, HPLC), biomolecular methods (e.g. Real Time PCR), bioanalytical methods (e.g. SPR)
• Fluent in English is must / German would be nice to have
