HCLTech in Switzerland seeks a Senior Kubernetes Engineer to scale and secure enterprise Kubernetes platforms and bridge development and operations. You will design CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure as code, and mentor junior engineers to uphold DevOps best practices.

The role emphasizes platform reliability, security, and performance across hybrid or cloud environments, with a focus on Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab automation.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of core, relevant experience in DevOps engineering and production Kubernetes administration.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes expertise including cluster architecture, networking, security policies, ingress, and storage.
• Strong proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
• Mastery of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and state management.
• Advanced knowledge of Git workflows and building pipelines in GitLab.

Aufgaben

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage large-scale production Kubernetes clusters with high availability, security, and performance.
• Architect and maintain scalable IaC using Terraform across hybrid or cloud environments.
• Write modular Ansible playbooks to automate system configuration, deployment, and operations tasks.
• Build, optimize, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across Kubernetes, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, enforcing DevOps best practices.
