Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• 5+ years as a Java Enterprise Architect (Senior) or 8+ years (Expert).
• Excellent knowledge of Java Enterprise technologies, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience designing microservices architectures and modernizing Java EE.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration, data architecture, and cloud-native principles.
• Experience developing target and transition architectures and migration concepts.
• Experience in complex enterprise environments and large-scale transformations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
• German and English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and model business requirements with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain target, transition, and solution architectures for modernization.
• Design migration strategies for transitioning legacy apps to Spring Boot microservices.
• Create architecture concepts covering design, integration, data, storage, and security.
• Produce solution designs and prototypes to support decisions.
• Advise teams on architectural decisions and technology choices.
• Collaborate with agile teams to ensure architectural consistency across systems.
• Review architecture concepts from external vendors.
• Support implementation, operation, and evolution of systems.
• Maintain technical architecture documentation including Hermes where applicable.
• Work with development, operations, and external partners for reliable delivery.
