UNION BANCAIRE PRIVÉE, UBP SA in Geneva, Switzerland seeks an experienced software engineer to design, implement, and operate backend services and APIs using Java 17/11/8, Spring 4/5, and Spring Boot 2.x/3.x. You will build REST and SOAP APIs, manage OpenAPI specs, and develop administrative UIs when needed.

The role covers Oracle and MS SQL Server integration with JPA/Hibernate and Liquibase, plus CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and secure coding practices.

Qualifikationen

• 7–15 years of professional software engineering experience with production systems.
• Strong backend with Java (8+), Spring 4/5 and Spring Boot 2.x/3.x.
• Frontend exposure with Vue.js or Angular for operational UIs.
• Databases Oracle and MS SQL Server; JPA/Hibernate and Liquibase for migrations.
• CI/CD and DevOps with Git, Maven and YAML pipelines.
• Security: Kerberos and OAuth2/OIDC; AppSec best practices.
• Testing: JUnit 5, Mockito, Cucumber; Jest for frontend tests.
• English fluency; French helpful; clear cross-team communication.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and run backend services and APIs in Java/Spring.
• Build REST and SOAP APIs; manage HTTP layers and OpenAPI specs.
• Develop admin consoles in Vue.js/Angular as needed.
• Integrate with Oracle and MSSQL using JPA/Hibernate; manage migrations with Liquibase.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and code quality gates; automate tests.
• Apply secure authentication patterns and follow AppSec guidelines.
• Contribute to test strategy; support prod incidents and reliability.
• Document APIs, architecture choices, and runbooks; track work in JIRA.
