Sword Group in Geneva is seeking a Senior Java Developer to own a critical Fees & Operations application in a banking environment. You will design, implement, and maintain backend services with Java/Spring, and contribute to REST/SOAP APIs while ensuring deployment stability and knowledge transfer from the current developer.

Qualifications

• 7 to 15 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Java 8+ (ideally Java 17) with Spring/Spring Boot expertise.
• Design/maintain REST/SOAP APIs; OpenAPI/Swagger knowledge.
• Oracle and SQL Server proficiency; JPA/Hibernate; Liquibase.
• Git, Maven; CI/CD pipelines; automated testing (JUnit 5/Mockito/Cucumber).
• Security and quality practices (OAuth2/OIDC, Kerberos, OWASP); fluent English; French a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own the fee and pricing application; drive knowledge transfer with the current developer.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Build REST and SOAP interfaces; document with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Contribute to frontend UIs with Vue.js or Angular when needed.
• Manage integrations with Oracle and SQL Server; optimize performance.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines; support automated testing and QA.
• Provide production support; investigate incidents and improve stability.
• Document architecture, business rules, dependencies, and runbooks with cross-team collaboration.
