Swisslinx in Zurich is seeking a Senior Java Developer / Distributed Systems Engineer to own end-to-end backend design and delivery for mission-critical financial applications.

You will build scalable Java backends with Spring Boot, champion performance, reliability and CI/CD, and collaborate with international teams across the full software lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with JPA, JDBC, relational databases, and messaging technologies such as JMS.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Comfortable working with Unix/Linux and modern software engineering practices.

About The Customer

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer / Distributed Systems Engineer to join a highly professional technology team within a leading financial services environment in Zurich.

The position is suited to a hands-on senior engineer who is comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of complex backend systems — from architecture and development through deployment, production support, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement.

Assignement Details

Workload: 100%

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension

Location: Zurich with up to two day homeoffice

Requirements
