Job summary

Viseca Payment Services SA in Zurich seeks a Senior Solution Architect to shape digital payments and drive IT transformations. You will partner with architecture, product and engineering teams, and partner banks to design scalable reference architectures for core payment processing.

You will lead architecture initiatives, define standards and governance, and push event-driven, Zero Trust security while aligning with FINMA and PCI DSS. Fluent English and German required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven track record designing and uncoupling large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of financial services infrastructure and payment processing workflows.
• Experience with domain-driven design, microservices, API design and event-driven systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization; hybrid environments advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to implement Zero Trust principles and SDLC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key architectural driver for evolving legacy systems and modern platforms.
• Define and align technical platform strategies with the target operating model.
• Lead integration strategies for complex payment processing ecosystems.
• Collaborate on integrating risk management and fraud detection solutions.
• Champion modernization through event-driven architectures and streaming patterns.
• Embed security at every layer and drive threat modeling and compliance.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture governance and documentation.
