Job summary

Viseca Card Services AG in Bioggio (near Lugano) seeks a Senior IT Security Architect to lead and implement enterprise security architecture. You will align business goals with security requirements, define targets, and guide technology decisions to keep systems resilient against threats.

Immediate start or as agreed. You will collaborate with the IT Security Architecture & Operations team, design robust security solutions, and drive architecture standards while maintaining regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information security.
• Master's degree in cybersecurity, IT architecture, or equivalent specialization.
• 5 years of proven experience as an IT Security Architect or in a similar senior security/architecture role.
• Leadership personality and capability at structured analysis and abstraction.
• Experience with risk assessments, threat modeling, and security architecture reviews.
• Strong communication capabilities and teamwork skills.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, or equivalent are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF; PCI-DSS would be a plus.
• English is mandatory, Italian a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise IT security architecture standards, frameworks, and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry best practice standards (PCI-DSS, NIST CSF).
• Design and review IT systems, applications, and infrastructure by translating business requirements into secure technical solutions, applying Zero Trust and Defense in Depth concepts.
