SIX Group Ltd in Zürich is seeking a Senior IT Manager (Focus IT Strategy and Operating Model) to join the CIO Office. You will shape SIX's IT strategy, evolve the operating model, and develop recommendations for senior leadership in an AI-enabled world.

The role combines hands-on strategic analysis with executive storytelling, preparing decision-ready materials, and collaborating with IT and business leaders. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, IT strategy, or comparable strategic roles.
• Experience in strategy development and/or operating model design.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with ability to turn ambiguity into recommendations.

Do you want to help shape the future direction of SIX-s IT organization? Are you passionate about IT strategy, operating models and turning complex topics into actionable recommendations? Then the CIO Office wants to hear from you.

As part of a lean and high-performing team, you will work alongside the CIO Office Head and the Senior IT Strategy Manager to shape SIX-s IT Strategy, evolve the IT Operating Model and develop recommendations for senior leadership in an AI-enabled world.

You will work on the substance behind strategic decisions, including hypothesis development, strategic analysis, content creation, executive story-lining and recommendation development.

This role is ideal for a hands-on strategy professional who enjoys solving complex problems, building fact-based recommendations and turning ideas into results. As an individual contributor in a small, high-impact team, you will shape some of the most important strategic topics in SIX IT, partnering closely with senior leadership.

What You Will Do ##

• Co-create SIX-s IT Strategy and strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities
• Help shape the evolution of the IT Operating Model and future organizational design
• Develop recommendations on how IT can better support business priorities and strategic objectives
• Structure complex challenges and develop fact-based hypotheses, recommendations, and strategic assessments
• Conduct analyses and benchmarking to support strategic decision-making
• Prepare executive-ready presentations and decision materials and compelling narratives for complex technology topics
• Support strategic discussions with senior management and governance bodies and partner with leaders across IT and business functions
• Drive strategic topics from analysis through recommendation and contribute hands‑on to workshops, assessments, and strategic initiatives

What You Bring ##

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, IT strategy, corporate strategy, operating model design or a comparable strategic role
• Proven experience in strategy development and/or operating model design
• Strong strategic and analytical problem‑solving skills, with the ability to turn ambiguity into actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication, presentation and story‑lining skills, including the ability to create executive‑ready materials
• A hands‑on, structured and pragmatic approach, with a strong can‑do attitude and the ability to independently drive topics to outcomes
• A self‑driven and collaborative mindset, with a passion for developing analyses, concepts, presentations and recommendations hands‑on
• Bachelor‑s or Master‑s degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• Fluency in English is required; German is a strong plus
