Job summary

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to lead end-to-end design and delivery of secure, scalable infrastructure across on-prem, private and public cloud.

You will shape target architectures, define reusable patterns, and provide governance to align with business priorities, resilience, and compliance in a highly international setting with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Expertise designing hybrid infrastructure environments (on-prem, private/public cloud).
• Ability to define scalable, secure, cost-efficient architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud-native and container platforms including OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end infrastructure architecture for multi-domain initiatives.
• Review designs for non-functional requirements and coherence.
• Define policies, standards, and roadmaps for infrastructure.
