Zusammenfassung

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced HPC-AI Engineer to join the Networking Clusters Solutions Infrastructure team in Zürich. You will design and operate large-scale HPC/AI clusters, work with the latest GPU computing platforms, and partner with researchers, developers, and customers to optimize workflows.

The role emphasizes automation, orchestration with Slurm and Kubernetes, robust monitoring, and scale-out deployment across bare metal to virtualized environments.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in CS or related field; 8+ years of experience in HPC/AI infrastructure.
• Experience with HPC/AI solution tech from CPU/GPU to high-speed interconnects and software.
• Proficiency with job scheduling/workloads and orchestration tools (Slurm, K8s).

Aufgaben

• Design, implement and maintain large scale HPC/AI clusters with monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Manage Linux job/workload schedules and orchestration tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop tooling to automate deployment and management of large-scale infrastructure environments, to automate operational monitoring and alerting, and to enable self-service consumption of resources.
• Deploy monitoring solutions for servers, network and storage.
• Troubleshoot from bare metal through OS, stack and application level.
• Document standard methodologies for internal teams.
• Support R&D activities and engage in POCs/POVs for future improvements.
