Job summary
ABB is seeking a Senior Trade & Transportation Specialist to shape logistics solutions for complex international projects from Switzerland. You will lead logistics for heavy lift, oversized, and special transport, advise Sales, PM, Engineering and Supply Chain teams, and help optimize costs while ensuring compliant, reliable execution.

Qualifications
- Experience in international transportation and project logistics.
- Knowledge of freight forwarding, carrier management, logistics procurement, risk assessment, and customs procedures.
- Familiarity with Incoterms, export controls and international trade regulations.
- Fluent in English and German; additional languages a plus.
Responsibilities
- Act as logistics lead for complex international project shipments, including heavy lift and oversized transport.
- Support tendering and project execution by assessing logistics risks and developing transportation concepts.
- Manage logistics service provider selection, RFQs and transportation execution.
- Collaborate across internal teams and contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes.
