Job summary

Cartier is seeking an International Commercial Senior Analytics Engineer, reporting to the International Commercial Data Science Manager. You will lead and deliver high-visibility analytics projects, leveraging Google BigQuery, dbt, Looker (LookML), and Python to build scalable solutions rapidly and efficiently.

While overseeing core platform maintenance and architectural updates, your focus will be on high-impact project delivery, collaborating with business partners to translate requirements

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience optimizing queries in BigQuery.
• Deep expertise in dbt and advanced SQL modeling.
• Proven track record building Looker semantic models with LookML.
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation and process automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of major commercial analytics projects.
• Design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade data models in BigQuery using dbt.
• Build dashboards with Looker and LookML for key business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate project requirements into clean, scalable technical implementations.
• Architecture & Platform Maintenance: oversee platform upgrades & migrations and ensure data quality and cost efficiency.
