Job summary

Cartier in Geneva leads as International Commercial Senior Analytics Engineer, reporting to the International Commercial Data Science Manager. You will drive high-impact analytics projects using BigQuery, dbt, Looker and Python, delivering scalable solutions for commercial operations.

You will design enterprise data models, build Looker semantic layers, and collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into robust implementations while maintaining platform health and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience optimizing queries in BigQuery.
• Deep expertise in dbt and SQL modeling.
• Experience building Looker semantic models with LookML.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation.
• Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of major commercial analytics projects.
• Design and optimize enterprise data models in BigQuery using dbt and SQL.
• Develop Looker dashboards and semantic models with LookML.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into scalable implementations.
• Maintain platform components during migrations and upgrades.
• Ensure data quality, performance and cost efficiency of BigQuery models and Looker environments.
• Lead migrations and platform refactoring when needed.
