Job summary

Incyte Corporation in Switzerland (Morges) is seeking a Senior Accountant, General Ledger, Payroll & Treasury to support accounting, payroll and treasury across European entities. The role reports to the Senior Manager Finance, Payroll & Treasury and collaborates with Accounting, Payroll and Treasury teams to ensure timely month-end close and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or a relevant professional qualification with accounting experience.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience in a multinational environment with GL responsibilities.
• Strong IFRS and/or US GAAP knowledge, and month-end close expertise.
• Experience in treasury operations, cash management and multi-currency banking.
• Experience in a shared services environment preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journals, accruals, reclassifications across European entities.
• Own General Ledger accounts and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual close; explain variances.
• Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate payroll accounting.
• Manage banking transactions in SAP and reconcile European bank accounts.
• Oversee treasury operations: cash forecasting, intercompany settlements, liquidity.
• Support SOX testing, statutory audits, and internal/external audits.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation in GL, payroll, treasury processes.
• Participate in finance transformation initiatives and system implementations.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and management reporting.
• Promote integrity, collaboration and compliance with regulations.
