Job summary

Lombardi Engineering Group in Tessin, Giubiasco, is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the geotechnical design and delivery of infrastructure projects. You will design and plan solutions for soil and rock, conduct investigations, and work with clients and suppliers to meet objectives.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with geotechnics, at least 7 years of geotechnical design experience on large projects, and proficiency in Rockscience and PLAXIS/FLAC, plus English and Italian language

• 7+ years in geotechnical design for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan geotechnical engineering solutions for soil and rock on complex projects.
• Participate in geotechnical investigation campaigns and interpret tests.
• Prepare technical reports, define deliverables and ensure schedules and quality standards.
• Site visits and collaboration with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline project teams for complex packages.
