UBS Card Center AG is seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise-scale AI solutions for the financial services sector. You will collaborate with AI, data and business teams to deliver scalable Generative AI, MLOps, AI Platform, and Cloud AI capabilities while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

You will lead end-to-end AI/ML projects, deploy chatbots and RAG systems, and mentor junior engineers while upholding engineering

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions.
• Proficient in Azure Cloud AI platforms, Oracle databases, and enterprise integration.
• Deep knowledge of ML and NLP including sentiment analysis, NER, and document classification.
• Hands-on with MLOps, model versioning, CI/CD, and observability.
• Experience with large-scale data engineering using Spark, Kafka, Ray.

Aufgaben

• lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
• build AI-powered applications including chatbots, RAG systems, and Agentic AI solutions with robust evaluation, monitoring, and performance frameworks
• develop and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines using Python, FastAPI, Apache Spark, and distributed processing technologies
• implement MLOps, and observability practices for model deployment, monitoring, optimisation, governance, and lifecycle management
• establish engineering standards and CI/CD frameworks to ensure code quality, testing, reproducibility, automated releases, and production-grade AI deployments
• collaborate cross-functionally with business, product, data, security, and operations teams in agile environments to deliver impactful AI solutions
• provide technical leadership, production support, and mentorship, coaching junior AI engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
