Zusammenfassung

Thales in Zurich seeks a General Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting for Swiss operations, enforcing IFRS and Swiss GAAP compliance. You will collaborate with the Shared Service Center in Portugal, Procurement, tax advisors and auditors to maintain reliable financial information.

You will own monthly closings, support group reporting, and aid efficient Procure-to-Pay. Fluency in German and English is required, with 3–4 years of accounting experience and a Swiss diploma.

Qualifikationen

• 3–4 years of accounting experience with broad responsibilities.
• Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss statutory accounting requirements and IFRS.
• Practical experience with monthly closing and financial reporting.
• Fluent German and English for cross-border collaboration.
• Strong communication and analytical skills for cross-team work.

Aufgaben

• Own accuracy and reliability of accounting entries and monthly closings.
• Ensure IFRS and Swiss GAAP compliance, including statutory and consolidated accounts.
• Coordinate with Shared Service Center and Procurement for P2P and timely payments.
• Collaborate with Tax Advisor on tax activities and requirements.
• Support Group reporting packages and provide reliable financial information.
• Identify risks and variances, suggest corrective actions and escalate as needed.
