Job summary

dsm-firmenich seeks a Senior Fragrance Development Manager for the Laundry segment to lead prototype creation and strategic fragrance innovation. You will partner with perfumers, CI, marketing and cross-functional teams to translate consumer insights into distinctive, market-ready solutions.

The role emphasizes data-driven approaches, international know-how, and collaborative leadership within a matrix organization. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience in fragrance development (FDM title for dsm-firmenich candidates).
• Laundry expertise and scientific/technical background is a plus.
• Track record of success in developing market fragrance solutions; technologies are a plus.
• Proficient in data-driven approaches and translating consumer insights into creative solutions.
• Broad international olfactory knowledge of the laundry market and consumer preferences.
• Collaborative team player, adaptable in a matrix organization.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the development of fragrance prototypes, supporting proofs of concepts for innovation projects.
• Contribute to creation of cutting-edge innovation-based collections aligned with segment strategy.
• Collaborate with CI to integrate consumer insights into high-value fragrance solutions.
• Guide fragrance development community on category-specific technologies and fragrance design innovations.
