Zusammenfassung

On seeks a Senior Specialist – Footwear Design Performance to translate athlete insights and biomechanics into high-performance footwear concepts. You will drive the full design process—from initial research to production briefing—working at speed with advanced digital tools and AI-driven workflows.

You will collaborate across design, engineering and testing teams, create concepts, mockups and 2D/3D assets, and travel 2–4 times a year to Vietnam partners for final prototypes and production

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design or related field.
• 5+ years of proven performance footwear design experience.
• Strong understanding of athlete needs and movement in team sports.
• Proficient in sketching and storytelling with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Advanced knowledge of 3D design tools (Maya, ZBrush, Blender, Rhino).
• Experience with AI-enabled design tools and computational workflows.
• Understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing.
• Hands-on mindset for mockups and prototyping.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration; fluent in English.

Aufgaben

• Own projects across full design process from research to commercialization.
• Translate athlete insights and biomechanical data into design solutions.
• Develop concepts, mockups, visuals, and 2D/3D assets for rapid iteration.
• Leverage AI-driven ideation and computational design to accelerate exploration.
• Collaborate with sports engineering, biomechanics and testing teams.
• Work with development partners in Vietnam; travel 2–4 times yearly to finalize prototypes.
