On is seeking a Footwear Tooling Engineer to create groundbreaking concepts for high-performance athletes and advance sustainability goals. You will own bottom unit development for the pinnacle product, collaborating with On Labs in Zurich and our Vietnam tooling team to drive materials, geometries and manufacturing considerations.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design.
• At least 5 years in footwear engineering with development and production.
• Strong knowledge of materials, mold construction and manufacturing for footwear.
• Experience with 2D/3D CADs and evaluating manufacturability and durability.

Aufgaben

• Lead bottom unit development for footwear products and evaluate designs for manufacturability and durability.
• Advise on plastics injection molding costs and capabilities for injected components.
• Collaborate with regional teams and tooling shops on mold revisions and manufacturing concerns.
• Support product management, design, and testing teams with tooling questions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and testing quality.
