Job summary

Roche in Basel is seeking an experienced senior scientist to lead flow cytometry workflows across complex sample types. You will design high‑parameter panels, interpret multi‑omic data, and support drug discovery through expert instrument operation and data analysis.

You will mentor colleagues, ensure rigorous QC, and contribute to ongoing platform development within the pRED organization. Fluency in English and a PhD in a related field are required.

Qualifications

• PhD required with 3–5 years in a flow cytometry‑intense lab or shared resource.
• Deep knowledge of flow cytometry experiments and high‑dimensional bioinformatics pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with cell sorting across varied applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pRED teams to advance drug discovery with advanced flow cytometry support.
• Perform daily QC, monitor instrument performance, and troubleshoot to ensure high‑quality data.
• Deliver training and onboarding for analysts; provide rapid, expert cell sorting for complex samples.
