Finders SA in Zurich, Switzerland is seeking an experienced (Senior) FIX Engineer Specialist to join its Front Office Technology team, focusing on mission-critical trading systems, FIX connectivity and electronic trading solutions.

The role involves customizing FIX interfaces, enhancing order routing across Front Arena AMS, Avaloq and related platforms, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives in an international banking environment.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on FIX Protocol experience in banking/electronic trading.
• Strong knowledge of electronic trading across equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives.
• Experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption, TCP/IP networking and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Front Arena AMS, FIS Cross-Asset Trading & Risk Suite and Avaloq is desirable.
• Python scripting is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and ability to work independently.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.

Your Profile

• EU Passport or a Swiss Visa.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with FIX Protocol in a banking or electronic trading environment.
• Strong understanding of electronic trading across Equities, Fixed Income, FX and Derivatives.
• Experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption, TCP/IP networking and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Front Arena AMS, FIS Cross-Asset Trading & Risk Suite and/or Avaloq is highly desirable.
• Python scripting experience is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English is essential. German is an advantage.
