Zusammenfassung

Finders SA in Zurich, Switzerland is seeking an experienced Senior FIX Engineer Specialist to join its Front Office Technology team. You will customize, implement and maintain FIX interfaces for electronic trading platforms and optimize order routing across Front Arena AMS, Avaloq and related systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of FIX Protocol experience in banking or electronic trading, a university degree in CS/IT, fluent English, and strong communications skills.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with FIX Protocol in banking or electronic trading.
• Strong understanding of electronic trading across Equities, Fixed Income, FX and Derivatives.
• Experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption, TCP/IP networking and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Front Arena AMS, FIS Cross-Asset Trading & Risk Suite and/or Avaloq is highly desirable.
• Python scripting experience is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English is essential. German is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Customize, implement and maintain FIX interfaces for electronic trading platforms.
• Configure and enhance order routing, market connectivity and trading workflows across Front Arena AMS, Avaloq and related systems.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Implement, configure and test new functionalities across trading platforms.
• Support business users and troubleshoot production issues.
• Define and optimize IT processes and workflows for execution and settlement.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors and project teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
