EFG International in Lugano seeks a Software Engineer to join the IT Trading & Treasury team, supporting mission-critical front-office systems used by a trading room of about 50 traders. You will own technical delivery and operational support across order management, pricing and position keeping platforms, including in-house apps.

This hands-on role spans the full stack, from databases to frontend, with vendor platforms and in-house development.

Qualifikationen

• 3–8 years of experience in application development and/or support in financial services IT.
• Solid development skills in Java and/or Python with production code experience.
• Strong SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL) knowledge; Windows/Linux familiarity.
• Understanding of financial products, pricing concepts and P&L attribution.
• Fluent English; Italian helpful for Lugano location; French a plus.
• University degree in CS, engineering, finance or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Build, customise and maintain components across OMS, pricing and position- keeping platforms.
• Design and ship in-house applications for trading desk, including integrations and reporting tools.
• Deliver end-to-end enhancements: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and docs.
• Provide L2/L3 support across trading workflows and coordinate with vendors and IT teams.
