EY in Geneva seeks a senior consultant to join the Financial Services Tax practice, delivering broad tax advisory across domestic and international environments for banks, wealth managers, insurers and asset managers.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, gain exposure to client engagements including secondments, and have opportunities to pursue external qualifications while advancing your career in a dynamic, multicultural setting.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of experience in Swiss and/or international tax, gained within a consulting services firm, Big4 or financial institution.
• Knowledge of tax transparency topics such as FATCA, QI and CRS.
• Fluency in French and English; German and/or Italian would be an advantage.
• A recognized degree in law, economics, finance, or a related field (federal diploma, bachelor’s or master’s degree).

Aufgaben

• Support clients with the interpretation, implementation, and application of regulatory and operational tax concepts, focusing on tax transparency topics such as FATCA, QI and CRS.
• Be involved in practical tasks: onboarding rules, reviewing client documentation, applying tax calculation rules, classifying securities, and supporting tax reporting to regulators and clients.
• Contribute to holistic solutions by collaborating with Legal, Audit and Consulting teams, and with international teams across jurisdictions.
• Be involved in client secondments and on-site projects regularly, enriching the work environment.
• Gain international exposure by working across different countries and language regions.
• Pursue external qualifications such as Swiss certified tax expert, LLM or other relevant diplomas.
