Zusammenfassung

EY in Geneva is seeking an experienced tax accounting professional to support international clients and optimize tax accounting structures. You’ll act as the central point of contact, liaising with colleagues and clients across borders to deliver accurate IAS 12 and ASC 740 commitments.

You will participate in BEPS 2.0 projects, lead on established accounts, manage resourcing and budgets, and develop the team within EY’s global Shared Service Center network.

Qualifikationen

• 5-10 years of tax accounting experience
• Strong tax or audit background with IAS 12 and/or ASC 740 knowledge
• Experience in tax audits for headquarters of multinational organizations
• BEPS 2.0 knowledge or experience is advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in English; French is an advantage

Your key responsibilities

• Act as central point of contact - liaise with your international clients and colleagues with respect to direct tax accounting issues
• Participate as part of the Primary Team in tax audits of International Groups and single legal entities in Switzerland
• Contribute with your knowledge to BEPS2.0 projects
• Leading clients on established accounts, seeking process improvement opportunities in both EY and client processes and implementing services for new clients
• Managing account resourcing, budget, and delivery
• Developing and coaching the team including the global EY-Shared-Service-Center structures

Skills and attributes for success

• 5-10 years of experience in tax accounting, ideally gained in an international environment through an in-house role and/or within a professional services or Big 4 firm
• Strong tax or audit background, with solid knowledge of IAS 12 and/or ASC 740
• Experience designing, executing, and supervising tax audit procedures for the headquarters of multinational organizations as part of a primary audit team
• Ability to assess and analyze the tax accounting implications of complex transactions
• Knowledge of Pillar Two is considered an advantage
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage and analyze large and complex spreadsheets
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with effective communication abilities
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is considered an advantage
