Zusammenfassung

Sygnum Bank is seeking a senior risk professional to contribute to the Group Risk framework, oversight and analytics for major risk areas. You will define risk appetite, monitor indicators, and challenge business functions while applying AI-assisted risk assessment.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in finance or related field.
• At least ten years of experience in banking/financial services with risk focus.
• Expertise in financial risk areas (credit, liquidity, investment, etc.).
• Experience building risk frameworks, appetite, limits and reporting.
• Strong quantitative skills and risk analytics/modeling.
• Knowledge of Swiss banking regulation and regulator interaction.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders and governance bodies.
• English fluency; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to and further develop Sygnum’s risk frameworks, policies and tools across risk areas.
• Provide oversight across financial risks including credit, collateral, liquidity and market risk.
• Define and monitor risk appetite, limits and key risk indicators; escalate material exposures.
• Perform risk measurement, stress testing, scenario analysis and portfolio analytics.
• Assess material new products and business initiatives from a risk perspective.
• Serve as senior risk SME at Group Risk Committee and at RALB.
• Advise and challenge business functions balancing commercial aims with prudent risk management.
• Apply AI-enabled approaches in risk assessment, analytics, monitoring and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional risk initiatives and strengthen risk culture.
