Zusammenfassung

Swisslinx AG Basel is seeking a Financial Services Software Engineer to join a Risk IT team modernising risk management systems with microservices, migrating from .NET Framework to .NET Core/OpenShift, and building a Cloudera Data Lake. You will work with C#, Java or C++, Kafka streaming interfaces, and relational DBs in an Agile, international setting.

Fluent English, senior experience in financial services, and strong problem-solving are required.

Qualifikationen

• Senior-level software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as C#, Java or C++, with willingness to work with C# and Python.
• Experience in financial services and understanding of financial product domains.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures and software design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Experience in Agile teams and iterative delivery.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to the continued development of the Risk IT microservices stack in C#.
• Refactor and decompose .NET Framework code for migration to .NET Core and OpenShift.
• Support the transition to a Cloudera-based Data Lake platform.
• Replace legacy interfaces with a Kafka-based streaming architecture.
• Collaborate with business users and Risk Analysts to refine requirements.
• Deliver stable, incremental improvements with a focus on testing and quality.
• Participate in rotating business-hours support to maintain system stability.
• Contribute to projects automating risk operations and modernising the application landscape.
