Terminal Investment Limited (TIL) in Geneva, Switzerland seeks a Senior Engineer Technology Infrastructure to drive IT/OT/Comms projects across our terminal network. You will develop and implement technology solutions for (re)development projects and existing terminals, ensuring secure, scalable architectures and effective collaboration with partners.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years IT experience in ports/terminals, a MSc in a technology field, and strong English communication.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3–5 years of IT experience, preferably Ports and Terminals.
• MSc degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Knowledge of container terminals and their management.
• Strong understanding of system security, networks, databases, and storage.
• Excellent English, written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate clearly to non-experts and manage stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Apply TiL’s Technology strategy in support of our global network of terminals.
• Work along the Technology blueprint for (greenfield) projects, and suggest improvements where applicable.
• Implement system architectures that can accommodate disparate systems and interfaces, and allow for future growth and change, while ensuring systems’ security and reliability.
• Contribute to and monitor the implementation of Technology projects in our Projects and Terminals.
• Review Terminal’s systems and development plans to identify risks, opportunities, and best practices.
• Coordinate and work with TiL’s partners to implement Technology best practices across the terminal portfolio.
• Support Projects and Terminals in the implementation of practices for Technology related matters, to achieve their objectives.
• Take part of the annual Technology budget cycle for Headquarter and Terminals, including analyses for the selection of strategic Technology investments.

Senior Engineer Technology Infrastructure

Main Responsibilities

We are currentlyseeking aSenior Engineer Technology Infrastructuretojoin our growing team based in Geneva, Switzerland. You will be responsible tocontribute to the successful development and implementation of Technologyrelated projects that support TiL’s portfolio of terminals and projects; thisincludes Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT) and CommunicationsTechnology (Comms) in support of terminal projects under (re)development andsingle-disciplinary projects in existing terminals.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Skill:

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant information technology experience, preferably Ports and Terminals,
• MSc degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field,
• Knowledge of Container Terminals and the management thereof,
• Knowledge of available Technology and proven Solutions including their respective pros and cons,
• Excellent understanding of system security, network architecture, database and storage systems, and communications technology,
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken,
• Ability to communicate and present in a concise and effective way,
• Capability to convey expert subjects to non-experts,
• Developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders: management, internal departments, terminal or project teams, consultants.
