Job summary

Auterion is seeking a Senior Embedded Performance Engineer who thrives at the edge of hardware and software. You’ll tune AuterionOS, optimize embedded Linux, and push real-time telemetry and video pipelines to their limits.

You’ll work across teams to deliver latency-optimized, scalable solutions for autonomous systems. The role requires deep C++ and Python experience, strong profiling skills, and hands-on hardware integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with C++ and/or Python in professional setting.
• Embedded Linux with cross-compilation, debugging, profiling and tuning.
• Experience in low-latency video/data pipelines on embedded platforms.
• Proficient in ROS2/DDS middleware and networking across OSI layers.

Responsibilities

• Optimize performance-critical components within AuterionOS.
• Improve end-to-end system behavior for latency, throughput and reliability.
• Analyze and optimize workloads like real-time telemetry and video streaming.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate customer use cases into robust solutions.
• Drive measurable performance gains in real-world deployments.
