Zusammenfassung

INFORS HT seeks an Embedded Software Engineer (Firmware C/C++) to design, implement, test, and maintain modular firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers in industrial automation and mechatronic systems.

You will develop reusable libraries and industrial interfaces (OPC UA, CANopen, Ethernet TCP/IP), collaborate across hardware, software, and product teams, and drive hardware validation, QA, and documentation through the product lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years of embedded firmware/software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ skills for ARM-based real-time microcontrollers.
• Experience with embedded Linux platforms, e.g., Yocto.
• Experience with industrial protocols (OPC UA, CANopen, Ethernet TCP/IP, Modbus).
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps; modern software development practices.

Aufgaben

• Develop, test, and maintain modular firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers in industrial automation.
• Develop reusable firmware libraries and industrial interfaces (OPC UA, Modbus RTU/TCP, CANopen, Ethernet TCP/IP).
• Ensure reliable communication between electronics, MCUs and higher-level automation systems.
• Plan and conduct verifications, system tests, and automated test solutions.
• Analyze measurement data and perform fault analysis for optimization.
• Support prototype development, hardware commissioning, and transition to mass production.
• Collaborate with software, hardware and product teams; participate in architecture reviews.
• Create and maintain technical docs, requirements specs, and test documentation.
• Ensure compliance with CRA and other regulations.
