Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior software engineer to join a Bank project focused on digital transformation for Germany SME clients. You will work in an agile team to design, implement, and test new features, focusing on microservices, cloud-native technologies, and automated ELT processes.

Required are 8+ years in software development, strong Java with Spring/SpringBoot/Hibernate, and hands-on experience with Terraform, GCP, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Terraform, GCP, Github is a must.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years Java with Spring/SpringBoot/Hibernate.
• Experience building ELT with dbt.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Cloud technologies and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Relational database experience with PostgreSQL.

You'll be joining the Bank, which is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.Our tribe is on a journey of an extensive digitalization of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. On that we are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

Responsibilities

• Work with a Team on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design, design decisions and APIDesign and develop new functionalities incrementally.Coding and testing, reviewing other team member's changesCommunicate effectively with the team in an agile environment to ensure alignment on tasks and priorities.
