ITech Consult AG is seeking a DevOps Engineer with deep Java, Kotlin, and microservices expertise for a challenging project in Zurich. The role focuses on building and architecting self-contained systems and internet-based services with demanding load and availability requirements.

You will work in agile teams using SAFe and Scrum, with Jira for task tracking. Senior candidates with extensive Linux/Oracle experience are preferred. Hybrid work within Switzerland is offered.

Qualificações

• At least 8 years of demonstrable experience with microservices and self-contained systems.
• Proven experience as a software developer for business-critical apps with high load/availability.
• Experience in software architecture of internet-based services.
• ≥8 years in Java, Kotlin, and Jira.

DevOps Engineer - Java/Kotlin/Microservices/Self-contained Systems/SAFe & Scrum

Project: For a challenging software development project, we are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and microservices. The focus is on the development and architecture of business-critical, internet-based applications with high demands on load handling and availability. You bring many years of experience with self-contained systems and are proficient in agile development environments using SAFe and Scrum.

Responsibilities:

• Development and enhancement of business-critical applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Design and implementation of microservices and self-contained systems.
• Contribution to the software architecture of internet-based services with high load and availability requirements.
• Ensuring scalability, stability, and software quality during application development.
• Collaboration in agile development teams using SAFe and Scrum, and utilizing Jira for task tracking.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of demonstrable experience with microservices and self-contained systems.
• Proven experience as a software developer in the field of business-critical applications with high load and availability requirements.
• Experience in the software architecture of internet-based services.
• At least 8 years of experience with Java, Kotlin, and Jira.
• Practical experience in agile development environments using SAFe and Scrum.
• Advantageous: at least 3 years of experience with Linux and Oracle databases.
• Advantageous: experience in developing banking solutions.
