As part of the development of our activities in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer (M/F).
Reporting to a technical manager, you will join a multidisciplinary engineering team involved in the development of advanced electronic products operating in highly demanding environments.
Own the complete development lifecycle of electronic boards, from requirements definition to production release.
Design, develop and validate highly reliable analog and mixed-signal electronic systems.
Define hardware architectures and translate system requirements into robust electronic solutions.
Perform schematic design, component selection and support PCB layout activities.
Develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes and validation platforms.
Conduct board bring-up, debugging, verification and qualification activities.
Contribute to design reviews and technical trade-off analyses.
Ensure Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, Design for Test and maintainability considerations throughout the development process.
Produce and maintain design, validation and manufacturing documentation.
Collaborate closely with system, software, mechanical and specialized engineering teams.
Support industrialization activities and transfer designs into production.
You hold a Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
You have at least 10 years of experience in electronic hardware development, with a proven track record of delivering complex electronic products from concept through validation and production release.
You have successfully developed and industrialized your own designs in demanding environments such as aerospace, space, medical devices, automotive, industrial equipment or advanced instrumentation.
10+ years of experience in hardware or electronic product development.
Strong experience in analog and mixed-signal electronics design.
Proven ownership of the complete electronic board development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture definition through validation, industrialization and production release.
Solid background in schematic design and component selection.
Experience with PCB development tools, ideally Altium Designer.
Experience performing board bring-up, debugging, verification and qualification activities.
Good understanding of low-voltage power electronics, low-noise designs and high-performance electronic systems.
Experience with digital electronics and high-speed interfaces.
Hands‑on laboratory experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers and similar equipment.
Strong documentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
PCB layout experience.
Experience with signal integrity, power integrity or electronic simulations.
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing / Design for Test methodologies.
Experience working in multidisciplinary environments involving hardware, software, mechanical and system engineering teams.
Exposure to advanced communication, sensing or embedded systems.
Fluent English is mandatory.
