Sécheron SA in Geneva seeks an experienced Electro-Mechanical R&D Engineer to design robust, manufacturable solutions for railway power systems and related technologies. You will convert advanced concepts into practical designs, coach others, and work within a multi-department team to support active products.

Qualifications include a Master/PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, strong tolerance management, and experience with SolidWorks, Comsol, and Ansys.

Qualifikationen

• Master/PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnics or Mechatronics/similar.
• Experience with tolerance management and robust design.
• Knowledge of ISO Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and applying tolerances in SolidWorks.
• Development of complex systems involving electrical, mechanical, and magnetic technologies.
• Fluent English; French and/or German a plus.
• Experience with FMEA or Functional Analysis.

• Convert advanced concepts into practical design.
• Challenge concepts and drawings produced by others.
• Be a reference and coach for robust design.
• Support actual products within a multi-department team.

• Hands-on with experimental mounting and testing.
