Job summary

Expleo, a global engineering and consulting group, is seeking a Senior EGSE Engineer (M/F) to join the Lausanne area team. You will drive development, integration, and delivery of Ground Support Equipment for Assembly, Integration and Test activities within space programs.

You will coordinate technical activities across stakeholders, ensure compliance with ECSS standards, and manage suppliers and subcontractors to secure reliable solutions across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Automation, or Embedded Systems.
• Minimum 8 years of EGSE development experience in space/aerospace/defense.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards and space programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and deliver EGSE equipment for AIT activities.
• Coordinate technical activities between project stakeholders.
• Ensure equipment compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements.

Senior EGSE Engineer (M/F)

Your Mission

You will play a key role in the development, integration, and delivery of Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). You will contribute to the success of Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) activities by ensuring the performance, compliance, and availability of equipment throughout the lifecycle of space programs.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and deliver EGSE equipment required for Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) activities.
• Coordinate technical activities between the various project stakeholders.
• Ensure equipment compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements.
• Manage suppliers and subcontractors involved in the development of EGSE solutions.

Your Profile

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Automation, or Embedded Systems.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in EGSE development within the space, aerospace, or defense sectors.
• Experience working on space or satellite programs.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards.
• understanding of electrical, electronic, or software systems associated with test equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of software languages and environments ( , C/C , LabVIEW, Linux, Git).
• Knowledge of space communication protocols (SpaceWire, CAN Bus, RS-422 / RS-485, CCSDS).
