Expleo in Lausanne seeks a Senior EGSE Engineer responsible for development, integration and delivery of Ground Support Equipment for space programs. You will support AIT activities and ensure performance, compliance and availability across lifecycle.

The role requires a strong electronics/embedded background, ECSS knowledge, and hands-on experience with Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, Linux. Fluent English; French is a plus. Collaboration with suppliers and project stakeholders is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Automation, or Embedded Systems.
• Minimum 8 years of EGSE development experience in space, aerospace, or defense sectors.
• Experience on space or satellite programs.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards.
• Good understanding of electrical, electronic, or software systems associated with test equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, Linux, Git.
• Knowledge of SpaceWire, CAN Bus, CCSDS.

Your Mission

You will play a key role in the development, integration, and delivery of Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). You will contribute to the success of Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) activities by ensuring the performance, compliance, and availability of equipment throughout the lifecycle of space programs.

• Experience working on space or satellite programs.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards.
• Good understanding of electrical, electronic, or software systems associated with test equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of software languages and environments (Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, Linux, Git).
• Knowledge of space communication protocols (SpaceWire, CAN Bus, RS-422 / RS-485, CCSDS).
