Job summary

IOTA GROUP is seeking a Senior Drilling Engineer for our Geneva, Switzerland client in the energy sector. You will act as Technical Authority for Drilling across the well lifecycle, from design to abandonment, supporting international projects and developing corporate drilling standards.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in drilling engineering, strong offshore/onshore experience, and proven ability to lead complex drilling programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Petroleum or Drilling Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years in Drilling Engineering within Oil & Gas.
• Experience in both office-based well design and field operations.
• International drilling exposure across multiple basins.
• Experience with offshore and onshore drilling environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end well design from Basis of Design to Plugging & Abandonment.
• Develop casing, cementing, trajectories, drilling fluids and completions.
• Provide remote and on-site supervision of drilling operations.
• Drive AI and data-driven drilling solutions and analytics.
• Develop corporate drilling standards and Well Operations Management Plans.
